Initial provider cookies
This type of cookie is set by the website that the user visits. Only this website is allowed to read information from the cookies.
Third party cookies
Third-party cookies are set by organizations that are not operators of the website that the user visits. These cookies are used by marketing companies, for example.
Session cookies are temporary cookies that are stored in the user’s Internet browser until the browser window is closed and the session cookies are deleted.
Persistent cookies are used for repeated visits and are stored in the user’s browser for a certain period of time (usually 1 year or longer). These cookies are not deleted when the browser is closed. This type of cookie is used to re-use a user’s preferences when they return to the site.

We offer you online content via various social media platforms in order to provide you with information and enter into contact with you.
We have no influence over the processing of personal data by the respective platform operator. In general, when you visit our social media offerings, the platform operator will save cookies in your browser in which your usage behaviour or interests are saved for market research and advertising purposes. Platform operators use the usage profiles created in this manner to show you personalised advertisements.

However, when selecting social media platforms, we ensure that the operators commit to complying with the EU data protection standards.
The processing of your personal data when visiting one of our social media offerings is performed on the basis of our legitimate interest in a diverse external image of our company and in using an effective means for informing and communicating with you.
The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. You may also have granted a platform operator consent to process data; in this case, the legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.
