The effort involved is in a reasonable relation to the risks.

Cookies

We use cookies to improve our website and to make its use as optimal as possible for you, but also for advertising purposes. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer when you call up our website and enable your browser to be reassigned. Social media platforms

We offer you online content via various social media platforms in order to provide you with information and enter into contact with you.
We have no influence over the processing of personal data by the respective platform operator. In general, when you visit our social media offerings, the platform operator will save cookies in your browser in which your usage behaviour or interests are saved for market research and advertising purposes. Platform operators use the usage profiles created in this manner to show you personalised advertisements.

This data processing can also affect persons who are not registered as users of the respective social media platform. Your data may be processed outside the European Union. However, when selecting social media platforms, we ensure that the operators commit to complying with the EU data protection standards.
The processing of your personal data when visiting one of our social media offerings is performed on the basis of our legitimate interest in a diverse external image of our company and in using an effective means for informing and communicating with you.

The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. You may also have granted a platform operator consent to process data; in this case, the legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.

Within the scope of usage-based online advertising, the Custom Audiences product from Facebook (Facebook Custom Audiences 1601 S. California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA, 94304) is also used on the website. In principle, a non-reversible and non-personal checksum (hash value) is generated from your usage data, which can be transmitted to Facebook for analysis and marketing purposes. A Facebook cookie is set in the process. Information about your activities on the website (e.g. surfing behaviour, sub-pages visited, etc.) is recorded. Your IP address is stored and used for the geographical distribution of advertising.
Further information about the purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of the data, as well as the privacy settings, can be found in the Facebook privacy policy.

Your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the framework of Google Analytics is not merged with other data from Google. Further information on terms of use and data protection can be found at https://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html or https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/.

Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser add-on. If you click here, an opt-out cookie will be set, which prevents the future collection of your data when you visit this website: Disable Google Analytics.
In addition, we use Google Conversion Tracking in connection with Google Analytics. This enables us to record the behaviour of our website visitors. For example, it shows us how many PDF’s have been downloaded from our website or how often the contact form has been filled out. It also shows us how many clicks on advertisements from external sources (AdWords, LinkedIn, Xing, Bing) have led to our website.
